Résumé / Abstract : The Revista de Historia de América (Journal of the History of the Americas) was created in 1938 and is the official academic publication centering on history of the Pan American Institute of Geography and History (PAIGH), which is a specialized agency of the Organization of American States (OAS). The journal is published every six months and its issues include articles that focus on the field of the history of the American continent. The Revista publishes articles in any of the official languages of the OAS (Spanish, English, French, and Portuguese)
