Résumé / Abstract : Le groupe de recherche international EURUS associe des enseignants-chercheurs et archivistes de plusieurs disciplines ou spécialisations autour d'une vaste thématique : les investissements scientifiques, technologiques et financiers des grandes puissances occidentales en Russie (XVIIIe-XXe siècles). Il fait partie des axes majeurs du Centre Roland Mousnier (UMR 8596) auquel nombre d'entre nous sommes rattachés. Sous le règne de Pierre le Grand, la venue massive en Russie de spécialistes de toutes disciplines (artisans, financiers, architectes, artistes, militaires, géologues, commerçants…) contribua à la modernisation, notamment par la construction de nouvelles villes ou l'exploitation de mines, du vaste empire. Résumé / Abstract : The international research EURUS Group associates professors, scholars and archivists of several disciplines or specializations around a broad theme: the investments in sciences, technologies and finances of the major Western powers in Russia (18th - 20th centuries). It is part of the major axes of the Centre Roland Mousnier (UMR 8596) to which many of us are attached. During the reign of Peter the Great, the massive arrival in Russia of specialists from all disciplines (craftsmen, bankers, architects, artists, military men, geologists, traders...) contributed to the modernization of the vast empire, especially by the construction of new cities or exploitation of mines.
