Résumé / Abstract : I Tatti Studies has a long and distinguished history as a premiere journal dedicated to seminal scholarship in the Italian Renaissance. With a new editor and publisher the journal continues to offer an array of exciting articles on topics such as gender and Rome, Renaissance streets, art and material culture, and the emergence of the vernacular, along with reflections by senior scholars on the state of their fields in social history, gender studies, art history, and theatre. Future issues will include articles by Ann Rosalind Jones, Carlo Vecce, Stefano Carrai, Gur Zak, and other leading early modern scholars; ground-breaking articles on Islam and the Mediterranean world ; essays on Vasari and Piero della Francesca; and “state-of-the-field” ruminations by Eileen Reeves and Andrew dell’Antonio.
