Résumé / Abstract : Founded in 1876, Il Foro Italiano is the most reputed journal of general jurisprudence in Italy. In its monthly issues, it offers an in-depth analysis of the production of the Corte costituzionale, of the main courts - civil, criminal and administrative-, complemented by an extensive overview of the most significant contributions by the lower courts and other decisional authorities. Every opinion is annotated, and thus correlated to the holistic picture of the Italian legal system, by the prestigious staff of the journal. A special sector of the journal is devoted to the developments of European law and to the produce of foreign jurisdictions, analyzed in a comparative perspective. The final section of the journal is reserved to doctrinal elaborations. Il Foro Italiano has been in the past, and aims to be in the future, a faithful and absolutely reliable source of knowledge of the law as it is practiced in all its respects in Italy
