Résumé / Abstract : This research is based on two analyses : the first one concerns a cultural and economic survey of the present market of professional advice in the field of internal communication. The other one reflects and investigates the actors' points of view from both sides (ie. Managers and consultants) on their practices in consulting. Although few statistics have been issued on professional advice requiring help from outside, this market, seems however to flourish mainly because of two positive trends. Firstly, internal staff is taken into account as a significant value for the organization. Secondly, the tendency for organizational communication to be considered as a global approach. First of all we found it necessary to define professional advice. Then we tried to bring about the influence of the concept of global communication on consultants' work in relation to the social and structural forms of advice companies as well as consulting methods. We concluded on the necessity for internal actors to participate in the consulting process in order to avoid suspicion and resistance and make the advicers' workmore efficient thus giving an opportunity for recommendations to be followed and assimilated by the organization
