Résumé / Abstract : La thèse étudie le paradoxe du symbole dans les métaphysiques de l'art postkantiennes de Schelling, K.W.F. Solger et Hegel. Ce paradoxe consiste dans la nécessité de comprendre, dans l'œuvre d'art, à la fois la manifestation immanente de l'idée et sa transcendance par rapport à la réalité existante. La thèse explore les solutions trouvées par les trois auteurs à ce problème, à partir du fil conducteur constitué par la question du rapport de l'absolu à l'existence temporelle. Elle met en valeur l'originalité de l'idéalisme de Solger, dont le contenu est spéculatif mais le point de départ, existentiel. Après avoir déterminé le rapport entre art et philosophie comme question de l'existence de l'œuvre (I), on s'interroge sur la temporalité propre au symbolisme (II), puis sur la question du rapport de l'absolu au temps dans l'individu artistique (III) et dans l'imagination symbolisante (IV) ; on pose enfin la question d'une forme artistique de la philosophie elle-même, dans le dialogue (V).
Résumé / Abstract : This PhD analyses the paradox of symbol in the post-Kantian art metaphysics of Schelling, K.W.F. Solger and Hegel. This paradox lies in the necessity of understanding, in a work of art, both the immanent manifestation of the idea and its transcendence to existing reality. The PhD deals with the answers to such a problem offered by the three philosophers, following the main thread of the link between the absolute and temporal existence. It highlights the originality of Solger's idealism, which has a speculative content, but an existential starting point. After having determined the relationship between art and philosophy as the question of a work of art's existence (I), we will question the temporality of symbolism (II), then the link between absolute and time in artistic individuals (III) and in imagination (IV) ; we will eventually work on the question of an artistic form of philosophy itself, in dialogues (V).
