Résumé / Abstract : Le poète américain Charles Reznikoff (1894-1976) pose très tôt les jalons d'une écriture poétique liée au témoignage. A partir des années trente se dessinent les étapes d'un projet d'ensemble qui implique prose et vers dans une relation complexe entre le compte rendu juridique et l'écriture poétique. A travers une analyse des écrits rassemblés sous le titre de "Testimony", de 1934 aux recueils posthumes de 1978 et 1979-"Testimony : the United States (1885-1915) : recitative"-, ce travail s'attache essentiellement à explorer la manière dont Reznikoff exprime sa volonté de conférer au témoignage une fonction créatrice...
Résumé / Abstract : Foregrounding testimony marks the work of the American poet Charles Reznikoff (1894-1976) from begining to end. Reznikoff's poetics introduces found materials into the poétic realm by attending to the relation between the legal document and poetic composition. The founding of this poetics involves from the 1930s on a threading together of prose and poetry which replays the poet's relationship to the world he is bearing witness to, Through a study of those works encompassing the project "Testimony", from 1934 to the later of "Testimony : the United States (1885-1915) (1978-1979)", this work sets out to observe the stages which shape the development the aesthetic function of testimony....
